BitGo has launched a redesigned user interface for its digital asset platform, covering custody, trading, staking and stablecoin services.

The platform has been rebuilt to bring multiple digital asset workflows into a single interface for institutional users. The redesign focuses on simpler navigation, a more unified homepage and updated layouts to make balances, trading activity and staking information easier to view.

Among the changes is a consolidated wallet view showing holdings across different wallet types in one place. Users can also pin frequently used wallets for quicker access.

Trading tools now appear directly on the homepage, shortening the path between portfolio information and execution. The platform also supports trading, financing and collateral activity within the same environment.

For institutions using staking, the revised interface includes an Earn page that shows actively staked assets, lifetime rewards, and available staking balances. Users can stake assets held in a Go Account or another connected wallet within their portfolio.

Stablecoin activity is also included through BitGo Mint. Eligible users can mint and redeem assets at any time while viewing total asset value, fees and an audit trail within the same system.

Operational controls

The redesign also emphasises administrative oversight. The platform includes user permissions, transaction limits, safelists and multi-level approvals intended to help institutions manage access and internal controls.

That focus reflects the needs of larger clients, which often operate across multiple teams and workflows, from treasury and trading desks to compliance and operations. A single interface with shared controls may reduce the need to move between separate tools for routine tasks.

BitGo described the new platform as a response to the breadth of digital asset activity now handled by institutional participants. Smart search, centralised navigation and a cleaner design are intended to help users find relevant functions more quickly.

Institutional push

BitGo positions itself as a provider of infrastructure for digital asset operations, including custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing and settlement services. It says it serves thousands of institutions and millions of retail investors through a global network of regulated entities.

The updated interface is part of BitGo's broader effort to offer more of those services through a single platform rather than as separate products. That approach mirrors a broader trend in financial technology, with providers combining execution, asset visibility and control functions in unified systems for professional users.

Institutional demand for digital asset services has increasingly centred on operational visibility, governance and the ability to manage multiple activities without adding separate systems. BitGo's latest redesign appears to be aimed at that market, with an emphasis on portfolio oversight, execution access, and administrative control in a single interface.

BitGo said the platform had been reworked from the ground up for institutional digital asset operations and described the update as the next step in its development after more than a decade in the market.
