Chargebacks911 has appointed Brad Wiskirchen as Chief Commercial Officer and named him Chief Executive Officer of Fi911, adding Kount's founding Chief Executive to the payments technology group's senior leadership team.

He will lead strategic acquisitions, develop partnerships and expand relationships with financial institutions, payment processors and payment orchestration providers. Fi911 is the group's sister business focused on banks and other financial services providers.

The appointment comes as Chargebacks911 broadens its focus beyond dispute management and targets growth in artificial intelligence, payments intelligence and financial services. Acquisitions are expected to play an important role in that strategy.

Wiskirchen brings more than two decades of experience in financial technology. He founded fraud prevention specialist Kount and led it until its sale to Equifax, later serving as General Manager of Equifax Digital Solutions.

His background also includes investment work at CVC Capital Partners, where he led fintech investment activity in North America. He previously served as Chairman of the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and was a member of the International Monetary Fund's Interdepartmental Working Group on Finance and Technology, High-Level Advisory Group.

Fi911 will be a central part of Wiskirchen's remit. The unit serves issuing banks, acquiring banks and other financial institutions with products covering dispute processing, workflow automation, compliance monitoring, reconciliation and operational intelligence.

In announcing the appointment, Monica Eaton outlined the company's rationale.

"Brad's appointment is about more than expanding our leadership team. It's about accelerating what's next," said Monica Eaton, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chargebacks911. "We've spent years building the technology, infrastructure and industry relationships that have positioned Chargebacks911 at the center of an increasingly important part of the payments ecosystem. The opportunities ahead extend well beyond traditional dispute management, and we're bringing together the talent, capabilities and strategic relationships to pursue them at scale."

President Benjamin Bridwell also linked the hire to a broader push into new areas of the payments market.

"Brad has unmatched entrepreneurial acumen, understands the investment landscape and brings the commercial instincts and relationships to help us capitalize on opportunities that can meaningfully expand our reach," said Benjamin Bridwell, President of Chargebacks911. "We're not simply looking to grow our existing business. We're looking to reshape what's possible across the payments ecosystem."

Expansion plans

Chargebacks911 operates in chargeback processing and dispute management technology. It handles more than 2.4 billion transactions a year for clients in nearly 100 countries and supports more than 2.5 million merchants.

The appointment of a senior executive with operating and investment experience points to a stronger emphasis on deals as the company expands its scope. Wiskirchen's role spans both commercial growth and leadership of the financial institution arm, giving him influence over partnership strategy as well as possible acquisitions.

That combination is notable in a payments market where providers are seeking broader product sets and tighter links across merchants, banks and fraud tools. Chargebacks911 sees room to extend its position across adjacent parts of the transaction process rather than remain focused solely on post-transaction disputes.

Wiskirchen said the business had room to expand through acquisitions, partnerships and entry into neighbouring markets.

"What Monica and the team have built is remarkable, and I see enormous potential in what comes next. I haven't seen a more impressive foundation of technology, industry connectivity and market reach," said Wiskirchen. "I've spent my career building and scaling technology companies, and it's rare to find a business with this combination of proprietary technology, established market reach and opportunity for expansion. Chargebacks911 has already built the foundation. Now we have an opportunity to dramatically accelerate its scale through strategic acquisitions, new partnerships and expansion into adjacent markets. The convergence of AI, payments intelligence and financial services is creating extraordinary opportunities, and I believe Chargebacks911 is uniquely positioned to capitalize on them. I'm excited to work alongside Monica and the leadership team to help build the next chapter of this company's success."

Eaton also highlighted Wiskirchen's experience in company building, investing and industry networks.

"Brad brings the rare combination of entrepreneurial experience, investment perspective and deep industry relationships," said Eaton. "We share a belief in challenging conventional thinking and building businesses that make a lasting impact. I couldn't be more excited about what we'll accomplish together - and it's an added bonus to welcome another fellow Idahoan to the team."
