RecVue has launched what it describes as an AI-native, agentic Revenue Operating System designed to manage revenue operations across the order-to-cash lifecycle.

The product is an updated version of RecVue RevOS. It introduces more than 50 purpose-built agents that work across contracts, invoices and payment data. RecVue says the system is intended to move finance teams beyond AI-assisted workflows to autonomous execution with governance and human oversight.

The launch targets a long-running problem in enterprise finance. Many companies still rely on billing systems that generate invoices and ERP systems that record transactions, leaving finance teams to reconcile data manually. That can delay cash collection, extend close cycles and increase the risk of billing disputes or revenue leakage.

RecVue says its agentic architecture connects revenue tasks that have often been handled separately by software tools or manual processes. The system operates across five areas: Contracts & Pricing, Billing & Invoicing, Receivables and Cash Management, Revenue Recognition, and Revenue Share.

The company has placed particular emphasis on controls. Each agent keeps an audit trail linked to the original contract, invoice or payment event. Approval checkpoints and escalation rules are built into workflows so staff can intervene when needed.

Access controls and visibility into AI-related costs are also included. That reflects a broader concern among finance leaders over whether newer AI systems can be used in regulated and high-value processes without weakening accountability.

At the centre of the new product is the RevOS Portal, which can be configured for different user roles. For finance chiefs, RecVue has introduced a CFO Copilot that draws on data from the five revenue pillars to identify risks, explain root causes and suggest actions through a conversational interface.

Nishant Nair outlined the company's position on the shift in design.

"Enterprise RevOps has always demanded both speed and precision, but traditional platforms force a trade-off between the two," said Nishant Nair, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, RecVue. "RevOS is built on a fundamentally different, agentic architecture that executes in real time, at enterprise scale, with full governance and auditability built in. This is not AI added to a workflow. It's a reasoning system that runs the revenue lifecycle, with traceability and human oversight in every action."

RecVue argues that finance teams need a way to query business performance across fragmented systems without stitching together separate reports. In that context, Nair also pointed to delays in understanding receivables performance, including days sales outstanding.

"For the first time, finance leaders can ask why is my DSO 70 days and get a traceable answer, not a BI report to interpret," said Nair.

RecVue also cited support from users in industries with complex revenue and billing arrangements. Those environments often involve recurring charges, usage-based pricing, milestone billing and multi-party commercial terms, all of which can complicate reconciliation and collections.

One customer highlighted the working capital impact of the new system.

"As a business, we continuously need to improve the reinforcing processes, managing risks and enhancing results," said Ingeborg Dierens, Chief Financial Officer, Cebeo. "RevOS fundamentally supported in these domains is providing the tools and intelligence to our teams. AI that understands our portfolio, anticipates customer issues before they escalate, and recommends right actions at the right time is not just an operational win, it is a working capital win."

RecVue focuses on billing and revenue management software and says more than 200 legal entities use its systems in over 50 countries. Its customer list includes Hertz, World Wide Technology, ACI Worldwide, Textainer and Landstar, suggesting it is targeting large organisations that manage revenue across multiple geographies, products and contract structures.

The wider market for finance software has seen growing interest in AI tools that automate parts of close, collections and revenue recognition. RecVue's latest move suggests vendors are trying to push beyond task automation into more autonomous systems, while also addressing finance teams' demands for traceability, approvals and clear lines of responsibility.
