Revolut has completed a fundraising process that values the company at USD $115 billion, led by a group of existing and new investors.

The investors included Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T. Rowe Price Associates and Baillie Gifford. The fundraising comes as Revolut continues its international banking expansion and reports stronger revenue and profit.

The valuation sets a new benchmark for the London-based financial technology company, which says it now serves more than 80 million retail customers worldwide. It has a longer-term target of reaching more than 100 million active customers in more than 100 countries.

In 2025, revenue rose 46% to USD $6.0 billion, while pre-tax profit increased 57% to USD $2.3 billion. Pre-tax margin reached 38%, according to the company.

Those figures come alongside a broad push into regulated banking markets. Since the start of 2026, Revolut says it has launched banks in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.

It also says it secured banking licences in France, Colombia and Argentina, and received conditional national bank charter approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in the US. This builds on its existing European banking operations across 30 European Economic Area markets.

Expansion drive

The latest fundraising follows a period of sharper scrutiny for digital finance groups over profitability, capital strength and their ability to operate under multiple regulatory regimes. For Revolut, the combination of fresh investor backing, reported profit growth and new market approvals suggests it is seeking to move beyond its origins as a payments and foreign exchange app into a broader banking model.

Its expansion has been especially notable in markets where full banking permissions are needed to offer a wider range of deposit and lending products. That strategy can deepen customer relationships, but it also brings higher compliance demands and closer oversight from national regulators.

Revolut did not disclose the amount raised in material released alongside the valuation announcement. It said the transaction drew support from long-standing partners and new global investors.

Employee ownership also featured in the company's comments on the transaction. Nik Storonsky, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Revolut, linked the process to staff participation in the business's growth.

"Every bank we launch means more people get a better way to manage their money, wherever they live. Our team makes that happen, and employee ownership has been central to our culture from day one. That's why we've once again given them the chance to share in the value they've created, as we work towards our next milestone of serving 100 million customers," said Nik Storonsky, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Revolut.

Profit and scale

The scale of Revolut's customer base and the pace of its revenue growth have made it one of the most closely watched privately held fintech groups in Europe. A valuation of USD $115 billion places it among the world's most highly valued financial technology companies, at a time when investors have become more selective about backing growth companies without a clear path to sustained earnings.

Revolut's reported pre-tax profit of USD $2.3 billion and margin of 38% are likely to be closely examined by investors and rivals alike, as fintech groups increasingly seek to show they can deliver both growth and returns. The business has expanded well beyond its early focus on travel money and transfers, adding a broader range of financial services for consumers and businesses.

Victor Stinga, Chief Financial Officer of Revolut, said the recent regulatory and operational steps had been years in development and would support further growth outside Europe.

"The milestones achieved this year have been several years in the making. They allow us to strengthen our digital banking proposition in our core markets and pave the way for it reaching millions more customers beyond Europe. The confidence of our investors, both existing and new, reflects Revolut's unique opportunity to build the first truly global bank," said Victor Stinga, Chief Financial Officer, Revolut.
