Today

Huawei Cloud has unveiled a series of new cloud services and solutions designed to expedite the transition from cloud-native to AI-native architectures.

During the Huawei Cloud Summit themed 'Accelerate Intelligence, Amplify Success', Jacqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service, emphasised that Huawei Cloud always considers AI as its "core strategy."

"By transitioning from cloud-native to AI-native, Huawei Cloud leads the industry with non-stop innovation," Shi explained.

The company defines AI-Native in two sectors: "AI for Cloud," which reshapes and enhances Huawei Cloud services with AI, and "Cloud for AI," striving to construct an optimal platform for accelerating AI development.

Significant growth for Huawei Cloud was observed in 2024, with over 50% expansion outside the Chinese mainland.

This growth made the company a favoured partner for many organisations seeking digital and intelligent upgrades, including over 140 carriers and 500 financial institutions. Shi reiterated Huawei Cloud's determination to upgrade their services to meet customer requirements across all industries.

Huawei Cloud's offering for carriers includes a new connection solution for driving consumer and enterprise businesses and a hybrid cloud providing a unified foundation for IT and B2B business.

For governments, Huawei Cloud facilitates the shift to smart governance with models and services such as the Pangu government model and aPaaS.

In finance, the Digital Core solution and financial big data solutions are provided to modernise applications and support customer service. The media and entertainment sector benefits from interactive solutions like CDN & Cloud Live, while retailers can utilise tools for building smart stores.

The automotive field sees offerings in IoV and autonomous driving, among other smart manufacturing solutions.

Bruno Zhang, CTO of Huawei Cloud, noted that "the foundation of achieving AI-native lies in being cloud native."

He pointed out that Huawei Cloud is advancing towards AI-native infrastructure, services, and tools, such as CloudMatrix, AI Cloud Service, and AI models to assist customers in AI model training and operations.

Zhang also mentioned the "AI for Industries" philosophy where Pangu models play a critical role.

With over 30 industries adopting more than 400 use cases, these models drive value creation in sectors ranging from public services to manufacturing. Specific examples include robots inspecting high-speed trains and improvements in steel manufacturing settings.

Huawei Cloud introduced several new services, including CloudDC Solution, Enterprise IT Cloud Migration Solution, Backup & Disaster Recovery Continuity Center Solution, and Large Model Security Solution, among others, to enhance their cloud service offerings.

These solutions cover a wide array of applications and industries, offering businesses seamless cloud management and security.

Iñaki Fuentes, COO of TravelgateX, shared that TravelgateX achieved cost savings of 20% and performance improvements of 35% thanks to Huawei Cloud's cloud-native technologies.

"TravelgateX was able to deliver personalized services and make more informed business decisions," Fuentes shared.

Fajrin Rasyid, Chief Digital Innovation Officer of Telkom Indonesia, commented on their strategic memorandum with Huawei focused on data centres and cloud services.

They are aiming to transform into a digital carrier in Indonesia's digital ecosystem.

Mustafa Kemal Erișen, IT Head of Hepsiburada, highlighted that after migrating their search service to Huawei Cloud, they saw a 50-fold increase in platform throughput and a 95% reduction in service response time.
